Another week of illness :(

So, this week we managed to be back to normal all day monday and then it was little mans turn to fall ill. All in all another week spent at home with the kids. Hopefully we'll now stay well for the next few weeks, fingers crossed. We have had some really nice days though, doing lots of arts and baking but I do have to say my coursework has been somewhat neglected so really need to spend this weekend with my head in a book.....

Have managed to get to a few lectures this week though, some great ones and some not so inspiring. Feeling like some parts of social politics are quite hard to comprehend and wondering how on earth I'm gonna be able to keep it all in my head for my upcoming exam! Somehow it'll just have to work...

Stuck inside

We've been stuck indoors for three days straight now as my little girl has been poorly but today finally(hopefully) she's been all better :) It has been wonderful getting to spend some extra time with the kids and just chill out as we normally have quite a hectic schedule of daycare and school during the week. We've managed to do so many of the little bits you never do quite often enough like baking, painting and snuggling down to watch a movie together, it's really quite a bonus to get that extra time occasionally.

Have also managed to sort quite a bit out at home as I have actually been here :) Sorted a few x-mas presents out, early I know but so nice to have it done! Also done some well needed cleaning! The downside is that I am now soo behind with the reading I need to do for school, have spent the majority of the evenings with my head in a book yet somehow I seem to be none the wiser. Hope this week will bring clarity as have a full week ahead of lectures... Will have to do some major studying over the next few days and weeks... I'm doing my first term at uni so it's all new to me and has taken a while to get into routine and adapting to the pace of things. But, it's so much fun and will be so worth it by the end of it :)

So, better get back to reading a bit before bedtime, night night!
